Placing Orders


A chart is a type of information graphic or graphic organizer that represents tabular numeric data and functions. Charts are often used to make it easier to understand large quantities of data and the relationship between different parts of the data.
 
NOTE: Order Types in charts are equal to the order types described in Dealing Rates. You can also place orders directly from the Chart Screen by choosing Place Order function. For more detail please consult Placing Orders and Managing Orders sections of the manual.
 
Requirements
Thunder Mobile Trading System chart functionality is currently able to run on most mobile devices. One necessary condition is multicolor display not less than 2.0" 260K Color TFT on main display.

Chart Settings Screen
Chart screen gives the ability to select chart interval, chart types and instruments and displays graphical representation of selected chart information. Charts are updated in real time according to selected time interval.
From the Main Menu navigate towards Charts, highlight the link and enter by pressing phone middle selection key. You will be redirected to Chart Settings Screen

There are several displayed fields:

Note: Chart history data size depends on screen resolution of different cell phone models.
        Tick can be used for line charts only.

 

Chart Type
Using the 4-way navigation key you are able to select Chart Types, Instruments you would like to trade and Chart Time intervals.
From the Chart Settings screen select the desired Instrument, Chart Time and Chart Type and press Load.

Instruments in Chart

NOTE: Please note that the initial launch of Thunder Trading System  will not load any Instruments onto the Chart Settings screen, therefore user needs to add required Instruments manually by choosing the add Instruments function from the main Menu screen. (To add more Instruments at later times refer to Settings: Instruments)
 
From the Chart Settingsyou may change the Instrument selection for each chart.

Chart Time Intervals
  • Scroll down to Interval field and press the middle selection key to enter.
  • Select Desired time interval from the list.
  • There are the following time intervals available: tick, 1 min, 5 min, 15 min, 30 min, 60 min and daily.
NOTE: Tick can be used for line charts only.
  • After selection of chart type, currency and time interval you would like to view, press Load

Chart screen
Chart screen displays graphical representation of selected chart information
Chart screen is truly universal. It shows the Instrument and chart time you are working with in the title, chart data history and price interval by default.

Chart Line
 
  • The number highlighted in green in upper right corner is the highest price in shown chart data history interval
  • The figure highlighted in teal color is current price of the instrument you are working with.
  • The number in orange is the lowest price in shown chart data history interval.
 
 
Placing Order from Chart Screen 
 
From the Chart Screen trader may place the market orders at the current market price and also set "Entry Stop" and "Entry Limit". 
  • Press the Place Order button
  • You will be redirected to the New Order screen where you can select the order type and trade action combination you are interested in executing.
